I grew up in Portland Oregon but live in San Diego, CA now. As a child, my parents always encouraged my artistic ability, in fact my father even built a homemade easel for me.

But it wasn’t until several years later that I took painting more seriously.  Few things make me happier then being in the studio creating a new piece of art. My goal is to convey this passion for art through every piece I create.

DianeI prefer to work in abstract modern / contemporary styles. Acrylic paints are my preferred medium. I’ve been told that my choices in color palettes are ideal for designers because the chosen tones can easily bring the room’s design together.

Lastly, for those  wondering, “Dilu” is my artist handle and is how I sign every piece I create. It’s a combination of my first and last name.
